Today I decided to have a little fun with the assignment – I got a partner! Hey, I made the rules, so I say it isn’t cheating. After all, much of art is about collaboration! This is a black and white marker outline of a sketch of a former foster dog Edith – a hilarious pointer mix. Young, goofy and kind of a ditz, I felt she was a fitting subject as her crazy, colorful personality seemed trapped in her (albeit gorgeous) white and black body. So, with the help of 2.5 year old budding artist Josephine, we gave Edith a bright exterior to match!

Edith, you’re simply gorgeous, Dahling.

The outline, pre-Josephine. WAY less interesting.
