I realized this morning that, with all of the craziness and emotion of this week, I completely lost track of what day it was and so missed Adoptable Thursday! Therefore, a day late, I give you: Adoptable Thurs(Fri)day. The installment for this week is a super sweet older gal named Goldie. She is a 10 year old golden retriever who was surrendered because her family was going through some major life changes, including divorce. She is a lovely, regal gal with plenty of spunk left in her. She is blind in her right eye due to an old, old trauma, but she doesn’t let it bother her (so you shouldn’t, either). She loves walks and affection, has lived with other dogs and cats, and would make a great addition to any elder-loving home. She is available for adoption through the Rhode Island SPCA in East Providence, RI.
Remember, if you adopt an Adoptable Thursday dog, simply email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and put “I Adopted ___(dog’s name here)__” in the subject line, and I will send you their artwork for free! Past Adoptable Thursday dogs Hennessey and Clara are still available as well, so let’s spread the word – these dogs have more than just great looks!
